**What is Cymru LEGO® User Group (LUG)?**

We are a group of adult LEGO® enthusiasts, based in North Wales, who meet, build, and share our passion for all things Lego®

**What we do as a Group**

We meet once a month in Rhyl to chat about our LEGO® passion, share builds, have a go at quizzes, and win prizes. This is a social and creative space for any adult with an interest in LEGO®, and you do not have to be a member of the LUG to join us for and evening of general laughter and fun times.

As a LUG we also display our own creations and participate in local and national conventions, one of which is ‘Rhyl Building Bricks’, held each year in August and is now in it’s 10th year!

We regularly swap, buy and sell parts, sets, or minifigures, with like-minded collectors.

**Activities & Purpose**

We arrange further meet-ups, such as the adult events at the LEGO® Discovery Centre in Manchester and visits to LEGO® stores. We participate in group builds, local workshops, community events and public displays.

We also encourage sharing knowledge, techniques and resources among members to collaborate and learn for each other and fostering both creativity and friendships.

**Recognition & Structure**

Although we are not yet recognised by LEGO® (which we are planning too in the not so distant future!), we still connect with the other LUG’s throughout the UK and follow the same guidelines, including a code of conduct and organisational rules. We are a not for profit group and support many local and national charities, such as Fairy Bricks.

**Benefits of Joining & Membership**

If you are an adult fan of LEGO®, then being part of Cymru LUG allows you to meet other AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO), not just from Wales but also from across the UK, creating new friendships and connections within the LEGO® community.

Learn from the other members, whatever your ability is from a seasoned builder to just staring out, enhance your skills and creative growth.

All it costs is a £1.00 fee for a yearly membership.

Join up with Cymru LUG and open up the many possibilities to build LEGO®, attend social gatherings, and engage in community projects.
